Janet Gilbert

Janet is originally from Melbourne, and after studying and working in Australia, Germany, the Netherlands and London, she has been living in Highbury for over twenty years. She has recently become the parish administrator and is enjoying meeting the new challenges of working behind the scenes, for once! 

Janet has taught in Sunday School or youth groups since she was a teenager herself, and still volunteers in Junior Church; she also helps with the Youth Club and the Night Shelter and sings occasionally with the new Christ Church choir. Janet is married to Simon and they have four energetic sons and a very hectic home. She is an active school governor, who loves singing, opera, reading, learning, and being with family and friends.
