Lunch club

Every Wednesday lunchtime Christ Church opens its doors to Year 9/10 girls from Highbury Fields School to come and eat their lunch, sample the house speciality hot chocolate, play games and chat.  The drop-in is run in partnership with schools work charity CrossTeach, based in various secondary schools in Islington and Camden.

The club is especially popular during the winter months when an alternative to the school playground or a chilly bench in the park is exteremely welcome!  It is a great way to build links with the school and foster good relationships with pupils and staff, as well as providing a place for young people to ask questions of life and faith.

CrossTeach have also hosted special events in Christ Church for the school at Christmas and Easter which are fast becoming a fixed point in the school calendar.
