Roots Down, Branches Out

To find out about weddings or baptisms, come to vestry hour in the church office in the vicarage basement, every Monday from 5.30-6.30pm to speak with a member of the clergy. Please note, however, that there is no Vestry Hour during August or on Bank Holidays

Getting Baptised at Christ Church

At Christ Church, baptisms take place during our Sunday morning services. If you live in the parish or regularly attend our church and would like your child (or yourself) to be baptised, come along to our 11.00am Sunday service and speak to a member of the clergy afterwards. A meeting will then be arranged in order to talk through the practicalities and to explore the purpose of baptism and what it means for you and your child.

Getting Married at Christ Church

If you would like to get married at Christ Church, please speak to a member of the clergy during the coffee break after our 11.00am Sunday service. They will then arrange to meet with you to discuss the possibilities and help you prepare for the day.

Funerals and Memorial Services

We are sorry that you have to make an enquiry about a funeral arrangement but we hope we can support you in whatever way possible. Funeral services can take place in the church followed by a burial or cremation or they can take place at the crematorium. For initial enquiries either contact your funeral director or our parish office (020 7354 0741). Our clergy will then contact you to make necessary arrangements. We can also consider the possibility of organising memorial and other occasional services here at Christ Church.
