Safeguarding Concerns

At Christ Church Highbury we are committing to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults.  All parish policies and procedures can be found in the Parish Safeguarding handbook or found on the Diocese of London’s safeguarding website.

Christ Church Highbury’s signed policy statement on safeguarding and promoting a safer church can be found on the notice boards inside the fellowship room and church. Click here to read the Promoting a Safer Church handbook or for the safeguarding E-manual click here.

Anyone working with children or vunerable adults, paid or voluntary will need to obtain a DBS check and complete safeguarding training provided by London Diocese. Anyone working with children, young people and adults, paid or voluntary must adhere to the code of safer working practice.
